Mazda Motor Corporation's production and sales results for December 2010 and for January through December 2010 are summarized below. I. Production

1. Domestic Production Mazda's total domestic production volume in December 2010 increased year-on-year for the second consecutive month, growing 10.2% compared to December 2009, due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

(2) January through December 2010 Mazda's domestic production volume in the period from January through December 2010 increased 27.3% compared to the same period in 2009, reflecting increased production of passenger vehicles.

2. Overseas Production Posting a year-on-year increase for the nineteenth consecutive month, Mazda's overseas production volume in December 2010 improved 30.2% on December 2009, reflecting healthy production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

(2) January through December 2010 Mazda's overseas production volume in the period from January through December 2010 increased 47.6% compared to the same period in 2009, reflecting increased production of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

II. Domestic Sales
(1) December 2010 Mazda's total domestic sales volume in December 2010 decreased 24.5% compared to December 2009, due to reduced sales of both passenger and commercial vehicles.

III. Exports
(1) December 2010 Posting a year-on-year increase for the third consecutive month, Mazda's export volume in December 2010 increased 13.3% year-on-year, reflecting healthy shipments to North America, Europe, Oceania and other regions (the Middle East, Asia and Central & South America).
